Azerbaijan demands to remove film about Karabakh away from French broadcasting

The embassy of Azerbaijan in France has sent a protest letter to the German-French TV channel named ARTE because of broadcasting of the film "Haut Karabagh: Gomchassar", telling about the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.

"When Azerbaijan suffers from occupation of its lands by Armenia, and the country keeps more than one million refugees, demonstration by the ARTE of the reports, which fail to reflect the reality of the conflict, causes doubts of impartiality of this TV channel. Also, it is not excluded that the film was made under the influence of the Armenian lobby," the Azerbaijani embassy has stated.

The embassy has also invited the authors of the film and journalists of the TV channel to visit the republic and make "an impartial film based on facts about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict."
