Alex Goldfarb: "The trial against war criminals of the Russian Federation will be given earlier than the many think"
The Chechnya Film Festival, which was held in New York and Washington last week, with the rooms being overcrowded, is moving to Moscow. It is opening on October 1.
While giving comments on the festival opening, head of the Foundation for Civil Liberties Alex Goldfarb said, "Russian elite tries not to dissemble the genocide in Chechnya pretending it does not know what happens there in reality. The Germans brushed stories about Dachau aside too, and the Serbians did stories about Srebrenitsa. As it turned out, they could do it only for the time being. These films give Moscow public a unique opportunity to become acquainted with some accusatory materials of the future trial against war criminals, which will be given earlier than the many think."
