Bomb triggered in Nalchik, a militiaman wounded

Today in the morning in Nalchik, the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, an explosive device was triggered and wounded an employee of the militia post-and-patrol service (PPS), as reported by the Investigatory Department (ID) for the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) of the Russian ICPO (Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office).

A remotely triggered shell-less device blew up in Nalchik today at 8:25 a.m. Moscow time near the crossing of Idarova and Severnaya Streets. Tatiana Nauzhokova, senior assistant of the head of the above ID, told the "Interfax" that the bomb was fixed to the fence not far from a bus stop.

When a militiaman of the PPS regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the KBR was passing by, an unidentified person remotely triggered the bomb. As a result of the explosion, the militiaman was wounded and received the necessary medical aid, the RBC reports.
