Investigation believes that terror act in Nazran was revenge to power agents

Under the preliminary version of the investigation, Batyr Dzhaniev, 23, who blew up his car on December 17 at the road police sentry post in Nazran, took revenge on power agents for the death of his mother.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the bomb was triggered when there were several dozens militiamen at the post engaged in revealing cars without number plates and with tinted glasses. 23 persons were wounded. Earlier, the investigation had established that the terrorist-suicide bomber was the son of Leila Dzhanieva, 51, the local resident, killed by the explosion on December 16.
