Lawyer Gandarov: court on Evloev case refused to interrogate main witnesses

Today, at the trial on the murder case of Ingush oppositionist Magomed Evloev, his relatives left the courtroom after they learnt that the main witnesses would not be interrogated. This was reported by the Evloevs' advocate Magomed Gandarov.

According to his version, Mussa Medov, former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ingushetia, and his high-ranking officials were not summoned for interrogation. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that inspector Shankhoev, who had earlier confessed that he drew up a protocol of Magomed Evloev's detention already after his death.

Mr Gandarov has reminded that the relatives continue insisting that Magomed's murder was intentional, not occasional.
