Head of "Memorial" was interrogated for 4 hours on his slander case

The today's interrogation of Oleg Orlov, head of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial", under his criminal case on slandering President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov lasted for four hours.

The "Caucasian Knot" reported earlier that Mr Orlov's interrogation was postponed from November 13 because of the illness of his advocate Genry Reznik.

"As a whole, the course of interrogation was normal," said Oleg Orlov and noted that most of the time was spent on correction of the interrogation protocol.

According to his story, together with his advocate Genry Reznik, he submitted two petitions - on adding some documents to the materials of the criminal case and on interrogating witnesses, as the "Interfax" writes.

"Both petitions were satisfied," said the human rights leader on air of "Echo Moskvy" Radio. "The criminal case isn't closed. Now, they'll make investigatory actions, examinations and interrogation of witnesses."
