Moscow City Court dismissed yesterday 9 more claims for moral damage compensation declared by former hostages and relatives of people who were killed in terrorist act on Dubrovka

The Moscow City Court dismissed yesterday 9 more claims for moral damage compensation declared by former hostages and relatives of people who were killed in the terrorist act in the Theatre Center on Dubrovka in October 2002. The total number of claims dismissed by the Moscow City Court has reached 33. Altogether 61 claims for moral damage compensation to the total sum of about 60 million US dollars were declared against the Moscow government. 24 claims dismissed by Moscow courts have already been sent to the European Court of Human Rights.
