Nariman Mamedyarov, kidnapped in Makhachkala, recognized among the dead

As reported by Magomed Dibirov, Deputy Public Prosecutor of Dagestan, Mamedyarov, who disappeared in Makhachkala on September 10, was identified among the militants liquidated on September 11 during a combat clash near Sirtych village, Tabasaran District.

Apart from Mamedyarov, among the casualties there were Sirazhudin Umarov, 32 (disappeared in Makhachkala on September 9, a couple of minutes after he met his district militiaman), Mirza Kasimov, 31 (disappeared in the evening on September 6 in Derbent in the area of School No. 18; witnesses saw the kidnappers - persons in masks and camouflage), and a certain Nikolai Nikolaev from the Krasnodar Territory, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.

"I think my brother will be buried tomorrow," Fizuli Asaliev, stepbrother of Nariman Mamedyarov, said to Radio Liberty. Nariman's brother has left now to the Tabasaran District to pick up the body. Mr Asaliev said that the body would be given out to relatives, in spite of the fact that law enforcement bodies had declared Mamedyarov to be a militant.

On decision of Nariman's father, the relatives will not make examination of the body, since a lot of time has expired after the death. "There were worms in the body. We identified him by his teeth. Father would not make examination; we'll bury him as it is," Asaliev said to the question, whether there were traces of torture on Mamedyarov's body.
