Georgian media report about Boris Berezovsky's visit to Tbilisi
Today, a number of Georgian media placed information that businessman Boris Berezovsky secretly visited Tbilisi in September. The authorities deny this fact.
The media report, with reference to their anonymous sources, that in Tbilisi Berezovsky met a number of state servants and visited the tomb of Badri Patarkatsishvili, his former partner. The "Interfax" Agency reports that Berezovsky and relatives of late Patarkatsishvili refused to make any comments.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia denies the fact of Boris Berezovsky's arrival to Tbilisi. "No, this is not true," the "Echo Moskvy" Radio quotes Shota Utiashvili, head of the information-analytical department of the Georgian MIA, who made his comment on the issue.
