Representative of British non-government organization "Article 19" makes working visit to Abkhazia

The representative of the British non-government organization "Article 19" Maxim Filandrov arrived for a working visit in Abkhazia. This was reported by the spokesman of the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry Aleksandr Studenikin.

Existing for over 15 years, the international company "Article 19" has been struggling for freedom expression. Article 19 has its representatives all over the world, they work with partners irrespective of whether a country is acknowledged by the international community or not. They also give trainings in the area of mass media.

Yesterday Filandrov met Abkhazian Foreign Minister Sergey Shamba. He told about a project concerning freedom of speech and conflict settlement. In his turn, Sergey Shamba emphasized the importance of this project for Abkhazia.
