Militiaman wounded by a mine explosion in Chechen mountains
An employee of the MIA of Chechnya has received a heavy wound as a result of explosion of a trip wire mine in the high-mountainous Nozhay-Yurt District of the republic, as reported by the law enforcement bodies of the republic. The victim was hospitalized.
As reported by the enforcers, the incident took place on August 9 in the course of search actions conducted by power agents in a dense forest.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 9 in the Vedeno District, next to the Nozhay-Yurt one, another Chechen law enforcer suffered from a land mine explosion. On that very day, in the Vedeno District, near the village of Dargo, a radio-triggered land mine was blown up, when a car with militiamen was passing by. A militia officer received face and arm wounds.
