Kelekhsaev's "People's Party" asks USA to recognize independence of South Ossetia
On July 8, the Board of the "People's Party" of South Ossetia, headed by Roland Kelekhsaev, passed an appeal to the United States and other countries of the world to recognize the right of South-Ossetian people to build their independent democratic state.
In its appeal, the Party welcomes the fact that the leaders of two superpowers Dmitri Medvedev and Barack Obama reached mutual understanding on key issues of global politics; that is, the "reset" process between Russia and the States has started. At the same time, the Party regrets of Obama's statement that the USA will support the territorial integrity of Georgia.
The "People's Party" of South Ossetia calls the USA and other countries of the world to recognize the right of the people of South Ossetia to build their own independent state.
