Special operation is over in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria
Two suspected militants were blocked today at night in a flat of a dwelling block in Nalchik. As reported by a source in law enforcement bodies, they surrendered to militiamen.
"The man and the woman, who were in the flat, surrendered to the militia without resistance and were detained," said the source and added that nobody of the participants of the special operation has suffered.
"Now, the detainees are under special actions, their persons and involvement in terrorist activities in the territory of the region are established," the "Interfax-South" quotes the source.
Prior to start the operation, militiamen evacuated all the residents from the building section, where the militants were hiding. The residents were put into a cafe nearby. The Russian News Service reports that shots were heard from the operation venue.
