Manifestation of radicals for peace and democracy in Chechnya was put off

The prefecture of the Moscow's Central Administrative District refused to accept radicals' notification about holding the picket "Chechnya: the UN Interim Administration, and Not the Imitation of Elections!" on Teatralnaya Square on October 3. The plea of the refusal was that Moscow police forces would be engaged in securing public order on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the 1993 October putsch. Coming from it, the organizers decided to put off the manifestation date.

Thus, the manifestation of the Transnational Radical Party and the "Club Khramov - Association for Libertarian Reforms" will be held near the monument to Karl Marks on Teatralnaya Square on Sunday, October 5 (on the day of the so called "presidential election" in Chechnya), at 13:00.
