"Chernovik" is going to prove illegitimacy of claims moved by "Rossvyazkomnadzor" at the SC of Dagestan
The founder and the editorial board the newspaper named "Chernovik" (Blueprint) plan to submit to the Supreme Court (SC) of Dagestan their arguments on illegitimacy of the claim filed by "Rossvyazkomnadzor" (Russian Federal Agency on Supervising Communications) and asking to close the edition; they also want to demand dismissal of Shamil Magomedov, acting head of the Republic's branch of "Rossvyazkomnadzor".
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that "Rossvyazkomnadzor" had addressed the SC of Dagestan claiming to stop the "Chernovik" after two warnings passed to the paper for alleged hostile attitude to law enforcement bodies and extremist statements in its articles. The editorial board finds the warnings to be illegitimate and wants to address Russian President Dmitri Medvedev.
On June 15, Gadzhimurad Kamalov, director of the LLC "Freedom of Speech", which is the founder of "Chernovik", and editor-in-chief Nadira Isaeva received notifications of the Supreme Court of Dagestan that the SC had accepted the claim of "Rossvyazkomnadzor" asking to stop the paper to consideration.
"In Dagestan, the Chernovik's case has been returned to the Mahachkala Regional Court," "In Dagestan, "Chernovik" journalists refuse to sign the indictment that was brought to the court," "Members of Makhachkala antiterrorist commission criticise the work of militia."
