Death case of Evloev, owner of "Ingushetia.Ru", to be considered by another judge

Representatives of the family of Magomed Evloev, deceased former owner of the website "Ingushetia.Ru", report that the judge of the Nazran Court of Ingushetia, who earlier considered Evloev's death case, has accepted his self-disqualification, on which relatives had insisted.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Yakhya Evloev, father of perished Magomed, found that the judge, whose term of office was not extended, cannot pass an objective judgement on the case.

"I'm sure that Judge Tutaev prepares an acquittal verdict to my son's killer, therefore, my advocates and me have boycotted this judicial farce and are going to challenge the Judge," Yakhya Evloev said to the "Kommersant" newspaper.

He mentioned refusal to open a criminal case on illegal delivery of the oppositionist to militia as an example of prejudiced approach of judicial bodies to examining the circumstances of his son's death.

The "Interfax" quotes advocate Musa Pliev who has noted that under the law in such situation the case should be handed over to another judge of the Nazran Court and considered from the very beginning - from preliminary hearings.

Mr Pliev has added that "now we can raise the issue again about re-qualification of the criminal case," as reported by the RSN.
