Governor Rossel invites residents of Ingushetia to Sverdlovsk Region

The Governor of Sverdlovsk Region has suggested inhabiting the deserted villages of his Region by resettlers from Ingushetia. According to Eduard Rossel, Ingushetia is in a disastrous financial situation, and is ready to send families to his Region.

The Governor has noted that he had already discussed the issue with President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov.

The issue of settling the Region by Ingushes and inhabitants of other CIS countries was discussed at the sitting of the regional anti-crisis commission. "They are our people, Russians, and which is no less important, these are families of rural workers," Mr Rossel has noted. According to the Governor, the arrival of Ingush families will promote revival of villages and enable to "completely ensure the food safety of the Sverdlovsk Region."

According to the Governor, he has already ordered to make inventory of empty house in villages by July 1, as reported by the RIA "New region". Mr Rossel has added that his Region is ready to render some material support to resettling Ingush families.
