Makhachkala administration finds electricity cut-offs illegal
The Makhachkala Mayoralty has stated that till the end of May all the debts to power suppliers would be covered and called the actions of the Dagestan Energy Sales Company, which restricted electricity supply to the capital of Dagestan, illegal.
"Such irresponsible actions of certain officials can be treated as provocation, pursuing other aims but not care about Makhachkala residents. Probably, the Company has no other effective mechanisms of economic defence," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the press service of Makhachkala administration.
According to the information presented to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, as of May 28 the debt of the city to electricity suppliers makes 26 million roubles, and this sum will be repaid by the end of May.
