Bekhbudov: two detainees on Baku Academy massacre plead guilty
The defendants on the case of the mass murder on April 30 at the Azerbaijani State Oil Academy (ASOA) have no complaints of their custody conditions and any pressure exerted on, two of them have pled guilty. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by Elchin Bekhbudov, head of the Azerbaijani Committee against Torture.
On May 12, Mr Bekhbudov had a meeting with suspects of massacre at the ASOA - Nadir Aliev, Ariz Gabulov, Madat Kyazimov and Dzhavidan Amirov. Referring to the secrecy of investigation, he has refrained from detailed comments and could not name the articles, under which the detainees were charged.
At the same time, he has reported that Aliev and Gabulov have partially pled guilty. The two other defendants in this case refused to admit their guilt. According to Elchin Bekhbudov, the defendants did not complain of custody conditions and of any physical violence.
