GPO of Azerbaijan gives names of execution victims in Oil Academy

During the bloody massacre in the Azerbaijani State Oil Academy in Baku 13 persons were killed and 13 more wounded. At present, 11 casualties have been identified, as spoken in a joint statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) of Azerbaijan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that shooting in the building of the Academy started at about 9:30 a.m. (8:30 Moscow time). A citizen of Georgia, having entered the building, used a Makarov pistol to shoot dead a security and women-cleaners; then, the criminal went upstairs conducting chaotic shooting.

As a result of the crime the following persons perished: Ayaz Dzhavanshir oglu Bagirov; Yusif Telman oglu Bandaliev; Tamella Zulfugar gyzy Azizova; Tale Tariel oglu Mamedov; Ramiz Khalil oglu Abdullaev; Shafa Afyat gyzy Mamedova; Medzhnun Abdulvakhid oglu Vakhidov; Aina Abbasgulu gyzy Gurbanova; Savalan Allakhverdi gyzy Dzhabbarova; Emmin Imamali oglu Abdullaev and Ruslan Babashev. Two more casualties remain unidentified yet.

The following persons were wounded: Mustafa Mohammed, Seid Ahmed Amuri (both citizens of Sudan), Daas Muaviya (citizen of Syria), Rakhman Akhundov, Zemfira Guseinli, Sabina Gurbanova, Elshan Mamedov, Elvin Dzhabiev, Kyanan Isaev, Faik Rustambekov, Ilkin Shiryaliev, Elshan Mustafaev and Bakhtiyar Dzhafarov.

This information was confirmed to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent at the Ministry of Public Health of Azerbaijan.

The criminal was also identified: a citizen of Georgia Gadirov, Farda Asad oglu, born in 1980. A document to this name was found on the body of the young man, who shot himself after he was surrounded by the police. Three specially prepared cartridge belts with 71 cartridges and two pistol magazines were detected on the criminal's body.

The official message says nothing about the motives of the crime.

In hospitals, journalists are not allowed to communicate with the victims, referring to their grave condition.

The population of Baku is in panic. Continually rumours appear among people about explosions of transport vehicles in various places. However, they turn out to be false.
