"Memorial" Office in St-Petersburg searched
Today in the morning, unknown persons in masks appeared at the office of the Scientific and Information Centre "Memorial", situated at 23 Rubinshtein Street. They presented a statement of the Prosecutor's Office of St-Petersburg on making a search. Three employees of the "Memorial" were blocked inside the office.
Currently, the agents are confiscating electronic data carriers and hard drives of the computers. Under unconfirmed information, the search is connected with the case on publication "This Is a True Candidate" in the "New Petersburg" newspaper in 2007.
Now, there is no communication with the blocked employees of the "Memorial" in St-Petersburg, they are not allowed to use telephones. The advocate who has arrived to the venue and the militiaman who was called up are not admitted into the blocked office.
