In Dagestan, "Chernovik" editor refuses to evidence

Nadira Isaeva, editor-in-chief of the Dagestan weekly "Chernovik" (Blueprint), who came on August 13 for interrogation to the Investigatory Department of the ICPO for Dagestan, has refused to evidence.

She was summoned as a suspect on the criminal case opened for appeals to extremism and kindling of hatred and enmity.

The "Gazeta.Ru" reports that Ms Isaeva wanted to be present during the complex psychological and linguistic examination of the articles, which had drawn attention of law enforcement bodies.

It is reported that the list compiled by the employees of the FSB (Federal Security Bureau) Department, who are also involved in the investigation, comprises about 20 articles published this year in the "Chernovik". Among them, there are transcripts of Yulia Latynina's statements made live on air of the "Echo Moskvy" Radio.
