Dacascos and Assante to visit Chechnya

The opening ceremony of the "Noah's Ark" First International Movie Festival to be held on June 13-19 in the capital of Chechnya" will be visited by well-known American actors Mark Dacascos and Armand Assante.

"Famous Hollywood stars Mark Dacascos and Armand Assante have agreed to be official gusts of the 'Noah's Ark' International Movie Festival on June 13-19. Preliminary consents have also been obtained from such well-known stars of Russian cinematography like Nikita Dzhigurda, Dmitri Bezrukov, Irina Alfyorova and Larissa Guzeeva," a spokesman from the Ministry of Culture of Chechnya said in his conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Earlier it was reported that the first international movie festival ever held in Grozny will be attended by Hollywood stars Dolf Lundgren and Eric Roberts. The jury has nominated 44 films from 21 countries for participation in the contest.
