Arrested ex-Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan placed into prison hospital

For 24 hours already, Farkhad Aliev, former Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan, is at the Medical Establishment of the Penitentiary Systems. The diagnosis has not been formulated yet.

His advocate Isakhan Ashurov said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent: "He has thinned down and absolutely pale. Farkhad Aliev moves with difficulty and hardly speaks, he suffers from dyspnoea. I do not exclude that Aliev had a heart attack."

Along with that, the advocate could not say what steps were undertaken by the doctors of the Medical Establishment to improve his health condition. However, Mr Ashurov said that examination of his client had started and should be over on February 7.
