Georgia accuses Russia of violating its air space

For the second day in a row, Russian helicopters are intruding into the Georgian air space and making photos of police posts in the territory of the Zugdidi District (Western Georgia), runs the statement of Georgian MIA disseminated today. However, the Command of the Russian Military Air Forces refutes this statement.

The Georgian MIA asserts that today at 11:00 a.m. local time from the side of Pichori village, Gali District of Abkhazia, two Russian helicopters models Mi-8 and Mi-24 intruded into the air space of Georgia.

"They flew around and made photos of the police posts located in the villages of Ganmukhuri and Khurcha," the "News-Georgia" Agency quotes the statement of the Georgian MIA. The statement reports that flights of Russian helicopters were also registered twice yesterday, on March 4.

Meanwhile, the Command of the Russian Military Air Forces asserts that this information is false and that no crews of Russian military aircrafts violated the air space of Georgia, as the "Interfax" reports.
