Court session on Politkovskaya's murder postponed till February 3

The Moscow Regional Military Court has ruled to hold its next session on Anna Politkovskaya's murder case on February 3.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today the Court has resumed the litigation on the murder of Anna Politkovskaya, observer of the "Novaya Gazeta" newspaper, after a 10-day break.

The RIA "Novosti" reports that the session was postponed because of a failure of a jurywoman to appear on Monday, as she had to take her child to periodic health examination.

Today, it has also become known that the detailed printout (billing) of telephone conversations of Makhmudov brothers, accused of committing the murder, which had been requested by the court from the telephone operator, is different from the one present in the case files. In particular, not all the calls between the brothers had been fixed by both telephones, as the "Business FM" reports.

The "Interfax" reports, in particular, that the list of Dzhabrail Makhmudov's outgoing calls missed four telephone calls made by him to the telephone number of his brother Ibragim on October 7, 2006. At the same time, the list of Ibragim's incoming calls contains six calls from his brother.

In the context of these distinctions, at one of the previous sessions, the court sent a request to the telephone operator asking to present a detailed data about both brothers' calls.
