We remind you that on January 17, in the course of operative investigatory actions held in the village of Bairam-Aul, Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, Isa Khagiev, a member of illegal armed formations, was shot dead. The FSB has announced that he had been sent to the Republic by Ahmed Zakaev, one of separatist leaders, with a mission to revive the underground movement.

This time it is reported that local resident Tataev was detained in Khasavyurt at inspection of his VAZ-21099 car. An F-1 grenade, a machine gun magazine without cartridges and a cellular telephone were confiscated. "According to operative data, he was in search for participation in gangs," said the source as quoted by the "Interfax".

The second detainee - Adam Saitiev - is accused of supplying militants with foodstuffs and provided them with cellular communication facilities. According to spokesman of law enforcement bodies, Saitiev was connected with the militant named Arsen Asirbekov, who is currently in federal search.
