Residents of Krasnodar Territory raise 5.7 million roubles for sick children
In the course of the charitable action "Let Us Help Children Together" launched last autumn by the territorial administration, residents of the Krasnodar Territory have raised 5.7 million roubles intended to help heavily sick children.
The initiators placed special collection boxes in the malls, shops and exhibitions for people to drop money for the children who need expensive treatment. In Krasnodar, 450 such boxes were installed, with 300 more in other towns and districts of the Territory.
An essential part of raised money was already transferred to help the children, suffering from deafness and hearing loss. Besides, as Yulia Bavyura, leading specialist of the Territorial Fund of Social Protection of the Population told the "First Cuban Radio", insulin syringes are bought for the children suffering from heavy forms of diabetes.
This year, 100 more boxes for gathering donations will be installed in Krasnodar, the "Komsomolskaya Pravda" writes.
