Three Chechen militiamen can be among those kidnapped in Ingushetia

Late at night on October 23, in Ordzhonikidzevskaya village, Sunzha District of Ingushetia (bordering on Chechnya), unknown persons kidnapped about 15 persons. Three Chechen militiamen can be among them. This information was provided by a source in law enforcement bodies of Chechnya.

"Under the currently available information, yesterday at about 10 p.m., in Ordzhonikidzevskaya village (Republic of Ingushetia, - comment of the "Caucasian Knot"), located several kilometres from the administrative border with our Republic, a group of unidentified persons in camouflage and masks, armed with automatic firearms, who moved in UAZ and 'Gazel', kidnapped about 15 persons from the hall of gambling machines. There is information that three employees of our Republic's MIA were among them. Now, this information is checked," said the source.

"The kidnappers have also hijacked a number of cars, which were parked near the hall. Presumably, the attackers drove the detainees in direction of Sernovodsk settlement (Sunzha District of Chechnya). In the vicinity of Sernovodsk and adjacent Assinovskaya village, they are now searched," the source has added.

In his opinion, the kidnapping of a group of people in Ordzhonikidzevskaya village was committed by militants.

We remind you that on October 23 the Ingush MIA reported that employees of power agencies of Ingushetia and Chechnya released, in the course of a special operation in the territory of Chechnya, Rayana Bogolova, a girl of three, kidnapped earlier in Ingushetia. The special operation was held in Grozny. As a result thereof, several persons were detained, including one woman, who are suspected of having to do with this kidnapping.
