Prosecutor's Office of Armenia: one of attackers on journalist Edik Bagdasaryan pleads guilty

On November 27, certain Karen Arutyunyan appeared at law enforcement bodies of Armenia and pled guilty of taking part in the attack on the well-known journalist Edik Bagdasaryan. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by Sona Truzyan, press secretary of the General Public Prosecutor.

According to her story, Karen Arutyunyan is just the person, whose identikit was compiled under evidences of the beaten journalist and who was actively searched by law enforcers.

  • Court denies compensation to KBR convict for HIV infection

    The Oktiabrsky District Court of Novorossiysk has dismissed Yuri Mikhailov's lawsuit for compensation for the fact that after staying in jails in Novorossiysk and in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), he was infected with HIV and hepatitis.
