Body count of November 6 Vladikavkaz terror act is now 12 persons

The death roll of the explosion of a fixed-route taxi in the centre of Vladikavkaz has reached 12 persons, the spokesman of the Ministry of Public Health of North Ossetia has reported today.

According to the spokesman, one of the wounded persons - an old man of 70 - died in the evening on November 21 in one of Vladikavkaz hospitals, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

Meanwhile, as the "Interfax" reports, leader of North Ossetia Taimuraz Mamsurov is sure that the threat of terror act remains.

"Today, it becomes clear that the forces, which failed to stagger the situation in Transcaucasia and shake the position of Russia, would now like to blow up the situation here, in Northern Caucasus, therefore, the threat of acts of terrorism in the territory of the republic persists," the press service of North-Ossetian leader quotes Mr Mamsurov as saying.

Earlier the "Caucasian Knot" reported that an identikit of the woman-terrorist was compiled. In the opinion of the inspectors, she could be Raisa Tumrieva, 41, younger sister of well-known Chechen terrorist Gelani Tumriev from Achkhoy-Martan district centre of the Chechen Republic.
