According to Mr Khazbiev, the action, which should have passed today in Nazran, was postponed "because of the criminogenic situation in the Republic." He has explained that "information arrived today that a car got blown up at the entrance to Nazran with unidentified person(s) inside, which allegedly was to be brought to the venue of the rally."

The "Echo Moskvy" Radio broadcasts that Magomed Khazbiev has added that in the morning a search was conducted in the house of Ahmed Kotiev, Chairman of the alternative Parliament, "People's Assembly of Ingushetia" and a member of the organizing committee of the rally.

The website "Ingushetia.Org" reports that today Ahmed Kotiev was detained by power agents.
