Ossetian Diasporas to hold a global action "South Ossetia accuses!"

Representatives of all Ossetian Diasporas plan to hold the worldwide action under the motto "South Ossetia accuses!" It will start on September 26 in Tskhinvali, Vladikavkaz, Moscow, countries of Western Europe and the USA.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported earlier that under the criminal case initiated by the State Office of Public Prosecutor of South Ossetia on the fact of August events in the Republic the investigation has establishes the circumstances of death and places of burial of more than 500 persons. The investigatory group has received preliminary information, by interrogating neighbours and relatives, on more than 1600 deceased persons.

All the Ossetian Diasporas, political parties and youth organizations will take part in the worldwide action. The presentations and accusations announced during the action will be used as evidences at the International Court, as reports the website of the State Committee for Information and Press of South Ossetia.

The action will start on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Moscow time in the central square of the South-Ossetian capital; then it will be continued in Vladikavkaz and Moscow, the RIA "Novosti" adds.

According to the Public Organization "Residents of South Ossetia against Genocide", during the warfare, 1697 peaceful residents of the Republic of South Ossetia perished, 5873 more received wounds, traumas and diseases of various gravity. 32,617 persons lost their houses and property. In the city of Tskhinvali, over 45% of all dwelling houses were ruined, 85% of the remaining homes were damaged and need repairs; 90% of houses in villages Khetagurovo, Tbet, Khelchua, Satikhar and others were destroyed by artillery and tanks.
