Woman from Kabardino-Balkaria asks to return property of her husband killed in special operation

Elena Tengizova, a resident of Nalchik, has addressed the Public Prosecutor of Kabardino-Balkaria Oleg Zharikov with a request to return the car and other property confiscated during a search conducted after death of her husband Anzor Tengizov who was killed in a special operation.

In particular, the application runs that her husband Tengizov, Anzor Borisovich, was killed on June 27, 2007. "On the same day, during a search made by employees of the Organized Crime Combating Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), they took away from our house a new car model VAZ 21099, three cellular phones, three Koran books and all the Islamic non-forbidden literature. No copies of search and confiscation protocols were issued to us," the applicant remarks.

Further, Elena Tengizova asks to investigate the murder of her husband Anzor Tengizov and return the confiscated property. The application was accompanied by the documents, according to which Anzor's body was given out to her for burial "for lack of any data about his participation in terrorist activities."
