President of Georgia invites Black Sea countries to cooperation
Speaking at the international summit named "Yalta European Strategy" and held in the Crimea, President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili called to development of the Black Sea cooperation.
The summit "Yalta European Strategy" is the largest and most influential nongovernmental forum on the matters of Ukraine and European Union. The founder of the summit is businessman Victor Pinchuk, son-in-law of the former president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.
Mikhail Saakashvili told about the achievements of Georgian government and construction of the democratic state.
In his presentation, President of Georgia deliberately avoided any references of relations with Russia. The promised Mikhail Saakashvili's briefing was cancelled; however, he gave his comments on recall of Georgia's Ambassador from the Russian Federation.
"It would have been very funny, if it wasn't so sad. All the norms of international law have been trampled on, our country needs no bombers, tanks and weapons, we need peace and calmness," the Georgian President said.
