Internet edition to show film on violations at May 21 elections in Georgia

The Internet edition named Presa.ge has made a decision to start on July 9 a web broadcasting of the third documentary showing falsifications of parliamentary elections in Georgia on May 21, 2008.

The 30-minute documentary "Word Instead of Action" was filmed Manana Nachkebiya.

"All the same, our edition has decided to show the film, although it abounds in amateur filming and represents a rather one-sided position of those politicians who are dissatisfied with the election outcomes," Konstantin Stalinski, publisher of the Presa.ge, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The editorial staff of the Internet edition has already named the documentary "Word Instead of Action" to be "late flowers", since all the deadlines for lodging appeals have expired long ago, and Georgia has its legitimate parliament, however, without the film heroes who criticize the policy of holding elections.

"The previous film named 'Democracy Test' made by the 'Reporter' Studio caused so huge interest of the audience that the real film's rating broke all the records of the website attendance," Mr Stalinski has emphasized.

Let us note here that soon the edition will start broadcasting the documentary "Fascism in the Georgian Way", made by director Malkhaz Varshanidze right after the presidential election on January 5, 2008.
