HRC "Memorial" presents Part Four of Violence Chronicle in Chechnya

On June 27, a press conference was held at the central library of Grozny, where the Human Rights Centre "Memorial" (HRC "Memorial") presented Part Four of the Violence Chronicle in Chechnya named "People Live Here", covering the period from July to September 2001.

The book "People Live Here" was presented by Usam Baisaev, one of the authors, who is engaged, together with Dmitri Grushkin, in editing of the materials collected by volunteers and employees of the Human Rights Centre "Memorial".

The message of the HRC "Memorial" that has arrived to the "Caucasian Knot" runs that 350 pages of the book are telling about the events of July-September 2001 in Chechnya, when "address operations" and crimes against refugees acquired a broad scale.
