Lithuania may crack down on Chechen separatists? website

Lithuania's State Security Department will crack down on the website ?Kavkaz-Center? if its activity is found to be in violation of the law. This news comes from a statement released by the department in Vilnius on Friday.

"Lithuania's State Security Department is concerned over violation of laws by the creators and administrators of this website; a report regarding information that is posted on the website, which, according to experts, foments ethnic and religious strife and terrorism, has been turned over to a district court in Vilnius," reads the statement.

It also says the website has re-opened despite department warnings.

The website of Chechen separatists ?Kavkaz-Center?, shut down earlier by Lithuanian special services, recently reopened in Lithuania.
