Peskov refuses to comment on Kadyrov's threats against Senator and MPs
Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, has refused to comment on Ramzan Kadyrov's words threatening a blood feud against Senator, Suleiman Kerimov, and State Duma MPs, Bekkhan Barakhoev and Rizvan Kurbanov.
"We are not commenting on this situation. If there are threats, then any citizen contacts law enforcement bodies, which take the necessary measures in accordance with the law," the "Interfax" quotes Mr Peskov as saying.
Blood feuds are not declared because of business conflicts or criticism, Caucasus experts have commented on Kadyrov's words.
Let us remind you that on October 11, Rizvan Kurbanov stated that he had not taken part in preparing an assassination attempt on Kadyrov and had nothing to do with the Wildberries Company. Bekkhan Barakhoev has also stated his non-involvement in to the preparation of the assassination attempt on Kadyrov. On October 12, Sergey Melikov, the head of Dagestan, after Kadyrov's threats of blood feud against Suleiman Kerimov, recalled the Senator's charitable projects and promised that the republic "will always support him in difficult times." The Mayor of Derbent also spoke in support of Kerimov.
On October 9, Ramzan Kadyrov, while speaking about the conflict around the Wildberries Company, mentioned Suleiman Kerimov, Senator from Dagestan, and Russian State Duma MPs, Bekkhan Barakhoev and Rizvan Kurbanov. He called on them to prove their non-involvement in ordering his murder and warned of his readiness to declare a blood feud against them. For more details about the conflict, watch the video.
