Krasnodar resident suspected of repeated discrediting Russian Army

Dmitry Polyakov, a resident of Krasnodar, fined for his pacifist picket, has become a figurant in a criminal case on discrediting the Russian Army.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 10, 2024, the court fined Polyakov by 30,000 roubles, treating the pacifist slogan in his poster with which Dmitry held a solo picket in June as discrediting the Russian Army.

"On August 9, policemen broke into his relatives' house and seized a computer from Dmitry's room ... He himself is outside Russia," the human rights project "OVD-Info"* has informed.

The reason for Polyakov's criminal prosecution was in his two pacifist posts placed by him in social networks.
