In Krasnodar, solo picketer accused of discrediting Russian Army

In Krasnodar, the police drew up a protocol under the article on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces against a man detained at a solo picket with a pacifist appeal near an administration building.

According to an eyewitness’s story, during his picket, the man was standing with a poster in his hands containing a two-word pacifist appeal, the “OVD-Info”* human rights project reported. Initially, people in civilian clothes approached him and took his passport away, and then a paddy wagon drove up.

After drawing up the protocol, law enforcers set the detainee free.

*Included by the Russian Ministry of Justice (MoJ) into the register of foreign agents.
