"Beslan Mothers" explain their appeal to Putin on inquiry into terror act

It is necessary to investigate the actions of the operative headquarters aimed to rescue the hostages, as well as the facts established in court, the co-chair of "Beslan Mothers" has clarified after the demand to President Putin to complete the investigation. Should authorities were interested in the investigation, they would have managed, within 20 years, to establish the guilt of all those involved, the head of "Voice of Beslan" believes.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 20, the Russian President visited School No. 1 in Beslan for the first time since the 2004 terror act.

Aneta Gadieva, a co-chair of the "Beslan Mothers" Committee, who was at the meeting with Putin on August 20, said that it is important to establish the customers and accomplices of the tragedy.

"It remains unclear who had ordered the terror act, although Basaev stated that he had done it. Not all the accomplices of the crime have been identified either," she has explained.

There are proofs that many members of the gang that seized the school had been officially under inquiry and even convicted. But they somehow ended up free and took part in the capture, Ms Gadieva has noting, adding that there are also many terrorist attack questions about the actions of the operative headquarters aimed to rescue the Beslan hostages.

Ella Kesaeva, the head of the "Voice of Beslan" Committee, has stated that Putin's visit is not important for the inquiry into the tragedy; and she treats the words about the need to complete the investigation as "ritualistic." In her opinion, authorities want to hear from victims only what they dictate themselves.
