Girls' deaths at quest in Makhachkala expose issue of safety rules observance at entertainments

Two girls perished and one young man suffered in a fire in a quest room in Makhachkala, where they came to take part in the game. Compliance with safety rules in the entertainment sector remains low, residents of the republic have noted in social networks.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that incidents in the service sector have repeatedly occurred in Dagestan due to non-observance of safety regulations. Thus, in June 2021, in the Sulak Canyon, two female tourists fell into a cliff from a faulty swing. They managed to avoid serious traumas only because there was a rocky ledge in front of the cliff.

According to sources, during the performance, one of the girls was tied up and sitting on a chair; the quest actor decided to light a fire to boost the game effect, but miscalculated the amount of fuel. When the fire broke out, the door to the quest room was closed, and the administrator did not open it.

According to sources, Asiyat, 19, and Madina, 25, died from severe burns received. When a fire broke out in the quest room, one girl tried to untie the other to save her, but died from fumes.

The quest room belongs to Gusein Ibragimov, a KVN (Club of Funny and Inventive People) player from the Dagestani national team, the "Mash Gor" Telegram channel has reported.

There have been complaints about the quest room in the past, including that minors are tied up to play and have bags placed on them.
