Kuban resident convicted in treason case

The court has sentenced Daniil Zinkovsky, a resident of the Leningradskaya village, to seven years of freedom deprivation, finding him guilty of attempting to defect to the Ukrainian side and join one of the armed formations there.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in September and December of 2023, in the Krasnodar Territory (also known as Kuban), law enforcers at least twice reported on the detention of suspects who got ready to pass over to the side of Ukraine. Criminal cases of attempted treason were opened against them.
