Details of Vitaly Zhuravlyov's case disclosed

Vitaly Zhuravlyov, a resident of the Akhtubinsky District of the Astrakhan Region, has placed a photo of the Russian President in the VKontakte social network and criticism of Russians, after which the court fined him by 30,000 roubles, finding him guilty of discrediting the Russian Army.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 24, 2023, it became known that the court had fined Zhuravlyov, finding him guilty of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.

According to investigators, he had posted in the above social network a photo of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, with a critical comment. His post was discovered by FSB agents, who transferred the materials to the local police division, where they drew up a protocol, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project has reported.

Zhuravlyov has pleaded guilty and repented.
