In Makhachkala, law enforcers disrupt a picket in Gadjiev's support

Magomed Magomedov, a deputy editor-in-chief of the "Chernovik" outlet, tried to hold a solo picket in Makhachkala in support of his convicted colleague, Abdulmumin Gadjiev, but another picketer joined him, and law enforcers declared a violation of the rules for holding a solo action.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Gadjiev's colleagues treat his criminal case as political persecution and regularly hold solo pickets in his support. On January 8, such a picket was held by the above Magomed Magomedov.

"Pickets are held every Monday ... in Makhachkala ... But as soon as the poster was unfolded, a certain person approached Magomed Magomedov, who was holding a solo picket, and unfolded a poster with similar content," the "Chernovik" has reported in its Telegram channel.

Magomedov rolled up his poster and warned the above person that he was breaking the law. "These 30 seconds, during which the two posters were together, were recorded in a photo and presented as evidence of a picket held by a group of people. The "Chernovik" treats the incident as a police's provocation aimed at disrupting the solo picket," the outlet has reported.

Let us recall that, according to his colleagues, Gadjiev is suffering because the outlet had voiced out "inconvenient questions" to authorities and law enforcers.
