After mosques were raided, Moscow Muslims stand against law enforcers' lawlessness

After the prayer held in the historic mosque in Moscow, believers held a march chanting "Allah Akbar"; in this way, they expressed their protest against law enforcers' raids on the mosques located near Moscow. Ramzan Kadyrov has condemned the marchers for their unsanctioned protest.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 7, law enforcers checked documents of the believers at the mosque located in the town of Kotelniki near Moscow. Kadyrov was outraged by the raid and demanded to bring the law enforcers to justice. The head of Dagestan, Sergey Melikov, supported the Chechen leadership. However, Kadyrov's demands remained unanswered in Moscow.

After the end of the Friday namaz (prayer), dozens of believers, who had visited the historic mosque located in Bolshaya Tatarskaya Street in Moscow, walked towards the metro, chanting "Allah Akbar," the "Activatica.org" outlet has reported. The police did not try to detain the believers and let them leave.

Kadyrov has stated that such actions give rise to "artificial inflating the topic by foreign agents paid for by the West."

"I'll say right away that I don't support such spontaneous initiatives, even if they are carried out with a good purpose. [...] If they are carried out, then, as it should be, it should be done by notifying authorities in advance and receiving a due sanction," Mr Kadyrov has written in his Telegram channel.
