Armenian, Georgian, and Azerbaijan journalists went through retraining within framework of program ?Press, Prosperity, and Peace in the Southern Caucasus?

From July 31 to August 4 the representatives of Georgian and Azerbaijan press were in Erevan where they together with Armenian journalists took part in the program ?Press, Prosperity, and Peace in the Southern Caucasus?. The participants presented printing and electronic mass media of those countries, as well as journalist public organizations and associations.

The first retraining within the limits of this program took place in Armenia on June 26-30. The goal of the program is to stimulate by means of press representatives processes of peace and prosperity establishment in the Southern Caucasus, and especially the processes of changing negative stereotypes that shaped among Armenians, Georgians, and Azerbaijanians towards each other.

The program was accomplished with the help of the Council of Europe.
