Boris Berezovsky: ?One needs to negotiate with Chechens?

?In his time President Eltsin solve the problem of future democracy development in Russia correctly when told regions: ?Take as much sovereignty as you will be able to swallow?, businessman Boris Berezovsky said on Wednesday. He thinks Eltsin was right when he intended to hand power over from the federal center to the regions. ?Putin did not believe in Eltsin?s experience, and he gains his own experience, Berezovsky is sure. Chechnya is a part of Russia, and there is a civil war there now. It is being spread into other regions of the country and already reached Moscow?.

In businessman?s opinion, ?the conflict in Chechnya has no power solution?. ?How can Russia be protected, when hundreds of thousands of Chechens are ready to give their lives as a sacrifice struggling against the federal center? One needs to negotiate with Chechens. But one does not have to negotiate with Kadirov but with those who speak against Russian politics?, stated Berezovsky.
