Kadyrov voices out his version of incident in Gudermes

Chechen law enforcers blocked two militants and offered them to surrender, but they threw a grenade, and both were killed by return fire, Ramzan Kadyrov has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on March 29, a police post in Gudermes was attacked, two attackers were killed.

According to the head of Chechnya, law enforcers had worked out "the operative information about two criminals."

"The militants were blocked and offered to surrender. Trying to break out of the encirclement, they criminals threw a grenade at law enforcers. Both attackers were liquidated by return fire. None of law enforcers or civilians suffered," Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel.

He has added that "this is all the information." "I ask you not to spread rumours about the unfinished remnants of the bandit grouping; their sudden attack on law enforcers and similar fakes. The criminals have been identified and neutralized," he has written, adding that "Gudermes lives a quiet life."

"We won't allow anyone to disturb the peace of our citizens," Kadyrov has concluded.
